The cafe’s appealing location within the castle compound and its cultural touches, such as exhibits and live music, make it a recommended spot for both tourists and locals seeking genuine Hungarian fare in a charming setting.
The beetroot risotto with shrimp was lovely and the goulash adult portion was huge! I felt the goulash lacked flavour compared to other places we tried but was a nice hearty meal. The restaurant is beautiful and service was friendly.I loved the variety of food choices that was on offer as it took me some time to actually decide one what I wanted! I would definitely recommend this place!
A very pleasant place at a convenient place in the castle compound with the spacious outdoor seating in the front. Servers are helpful and friendly, including Gabor and others. We had a soup and a salad and a dessert, and they were all delicious. Live music with fiddlers and a cimbalom player. An exhibit of Royal Guard upstairs. Highly recommended.
Delicious food. Wonderful and friendly staffs. Live classical music performances. What a treat in Budapest.
The food is good. Exactly the traditional Hungarian food that we want to try. The goulash ia super and pork chest is brilliant. I like them very much. The atmosphere is also excellent. With air conditioning and good service from Gabor, a real good experience in Budapest.
The food quality is really good! The shrimp in the shrimp salad is very tasty. The steak is also nice and tender. The Service is nice and quick. Don't get the triple desert, get the pan filled with apple goodness instead! That one is hot and tasty.
This is the first time for us to visit Hungary but it is unforgettable memory! Every food and drink is tasty and beautiful. Especially staffs are really kind and friendly! We must come back!
The views from the terrace, the service and the food were all excellent. The goulash soup is delicious and very tasty, with lots of beef. The kaizerschmarrn was also very good, I would say that better than the one tried in Vienna. They charged their service on the bill directly, pretty big tip, but the service and food was worth it
This cafe has a nice interior, great views from the terrace and helpful staff. Their goulash is delicious, if a bit too salty, they offer gluten free bread, delicuous dishes, lemonades and even gluten free dessert. If you are gluten free, don't think twice.
